Baby Mary Jane Slippers

I always enjoy making at least part of the gift that I give at baby showers I am invited to. I LOVE when it is for a baby girl. The colors are just so fun and cute.

I purchased this pattern for these Baby Mary Jane Slippers about 2 years ago when I first started crocheting. I have never been too terribly good when it comes to making 2 items that are identical to each other. Needless to say, I tried to make these back when I purchased the pattern and they didn't turn out. Now that I have a good amount of practice under my belt, I decided to try them again. They are quite simple and SO adorable! I added the flowers from a free pattern I found here.

I used the 0-3 Month pattern, Medium (4) Weight Yarn and H hook for these. They turned out to be about 6-9 months as they are just a bit tight on my son who wears size 4 shoes (yes, he is the only baby model I have at my disposal today). So I would probably recommend either a lighter weight yarn or smaller hook size for those of you that crochet a little bit more on the loose side.
